Do you have any siblings or pets?

I have a younger brother who is at the EMS right now!

What is your greatest achievement to date?

I won the Baer prize in the astronomy department at my university along with three other undergraduates for our excellence in academics, research, and outreach.

Why did you pick EMS for your 6th form study?

I loved maths and physics and knew I wanted to continue that for uni and so I figured the EMS would prepare me well, and it did!

What was the highlight of your time at EMS?

The people. The teachers and students form a community that is unlike any other 6th form. The building feels like home and everyone feels like family.

What has been your biggest surprise about EMS?

The biggest surprise was probably how relaxed all the classes felt. I enjoyed sitting on couches in some classes and being treated as an adult by the teachers.

Do you have any advice for future applicants?

As cliche as it sounds, just be yourself! EMS is a wholly wonderful and accepting place where you can relax and relate to others that are just as excited about maths as you are!
