Cathy Kelly

Cathy joined the EMS team in September 2020, just after her son had completed his studies with us!

Having completed her A-levels, which included Further Mathematics, Cathy went on to study Natural Sciences at Cambridge University and followed this with a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Sheffield.

Cathy applied her logical and critical thinking to a variety of roles including working as an accountant for 13 years before retraining as a maths teacher in 2008. She has a wealth of experience teaching in state schools in East Devon and Exeter. In her spare time, Cathy enjoys Orienteering!
